Mikids English uses a phonics-based approach combined with a
whole-language approach to teach reading to children. Each
lesson is designed to develop children’s language skills in
listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
The Mikids Math program encompasses exciting sensorial and hands-on
manipulative activities that teach children key mathematical concepts.
The open-ended tasks are based on everyday situations, and in order to
solve the problems, children are encouraged to invent their own strategies,
consider alternatives, and make choices.
Mikids Science uses a learn-through-play approach that supports each
child’s cognitive development. While children learn facts and ideas
about the universe and understand the laws of nature, various hands-on
activities also stimulate their desire to ask questions and find answers.
A good education is incomplete without moral training. Mikids Moral Education
uses stories, role-playing, and other activities to inculcate values in young
children. This is necessary not only for academic achievement but for living
ethical, harmonious, and productive lives as well.

The Mikids Multimedia Package for Schools includes the following:

The interactive teaching software can help children learn English,
Math, Science and Moral Values effectively in a fun-filled environment.
The computer software also allows teachers full control of the pacing
and content of the lessons.
The Mikids integrated workbooks are age-appropriate and colorful in
design, which helps to foster a love for books among young children.
Large print and attractive graphics help children to read with ease.
Audio CD’s of the songs in English is provided to the students to
help them review their lessons while listening to music and singing
along to the songs when they’re at home or even in the car.
Reviewing has never been so much fun!
Extra worksheets are available in English, Science, and Math to
help children gain mastery of their lessons. Worksheets are given
in not only one, but two file formats to enable teachers to produce
more custom worksheets for students.
Lessons in the four subjects are thematic and can be taught to the
students in an integrated manner. Teachers enjoy flexibility in
planning their lessons at the same time that they are given the
opportunity to explore topics using varied approaches that will
reinforce and integrate students’ learning in different subject areas.
The Mikids lesson guides come as a bonus to help teachers implement
classroom activities in conjunction with the computer software and
workbooks. The lesson guides are also flexible enough to give teachers
the freedom to adapt certain lessons to the local context.
All teachers teaching the Mikids program undergo a teacher workshop
training them on the multimedia teaching methodology of Mikids.
This ensures that classroom teaching and learning activities are
conducted in a fun-filled environment to reach the highest level
of learning achievement for the students.
